GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT CHART

The next exercise is designed to give an idea of how effectively we are presently balancing work-time with time set aside for play, self-development, and relationships with others. Based on these results goals can be set to help bring more equal balance into our lives so that work related activities are not dominating, controlling, or playing havoc with other parts of our lives. To begin this exercise, keep track of how many hours per day (for a total of ten average days) is spent on the four pieces of the pie. Then, chart it in the pie found on the next page; or draw lines to determine the size of the pieces of each area of our life. The results of the pie division can help determine the goals that may need to be set to help achieve a greater balance in activities throughout a lifetime.Be honest when these answers are given. Each exercise is designed to help you as an individual in growth and development.
